There are a lot of things to do when moving house like changing your address with the bank registering with a power supplier, finding a GP and a dentist etc. These tasks are all reasonably easy. The most difficult and in my opinion one of the most important tasks is finding a good hairdresser which you can trust.

Now living in Cardiff city centre you would think that it would be easy to find a hairdresser, problem is there are so many! Living in Wrexham it was pretty easy to choose one because there were only a handful of decent hairdressers and living there all my life you tend to know from word of mouth if there are any that are particularly bad.

So where do you start? I simply Googled hairdressers in Cardiff and you can imagine how many hits there were. I am looking for a salon within walking distance where a haircut costs around £25 - £30 and do colours for a reasonable price too, you wouldn’t think it would be that difficult would you!

My husband thinks that I should walk around the city until I see a woman with nice hair and ask her where she had it c, but I think that’s a bit creepy. I think I will continue with the Google search method and check out some reviews etc.
